Spying And Immigration

The United States Constitution

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the person or things to be seized.

I was listening to Rush Limbaugh yesterday talking about those of us against parts of The Patriot Act as being against the winning of the war on terrorism; nothing could be further from the truth. If you have read this blog at all you know I am all for winning the war on terrorism; I just don't want us to lose who we are in the process.

I don't believe a law enforcement agency should be able to write their own warrants; we have this called the U.S. Constitution which agrees with me. Until we actually have the guts to declare war, we aren't at war. We are in the middle of hostilities; but we haven't declared war. You know that process is in the Constitution also.

Now you know why I am a member of the Constitution Party.

I also read a news report on the anger of the Mexican government because of our desire to build a fence along our porous southern border to stop the flood of ILLEGAL immigrants. This should be a felony and to heck with any amnesty. I am tired of my tax dollars subsidizing businesses employment costs through the us of social service of illegal immigrants because they are not paid a living wage.
